Poverty impact in Haiti

Haiti is considered to be among the poorest country in human existence over the last four decades so that families live on an average income of $300 US per year. As a result the most vulnerable and neglected population is children from birth to teenage age. Neglect of education, social, spiritual and cultural interaction and the prevention of malnutrition, diseases and abuses are elements shattering hope and opportunities that result into great losses for Haitian families. Without new targeted solutions and continuous human efforts to eliminate poverty for families and children in Haiti conditions will only get worst in the months and years ahead.

Immediate Goals

1. Seek funding from individuals and organizations that will be used to assist volunteers who are currently providing housing and care for children between the age of three to teenage years
2. Seek additional qualified volunteer Haitian families who will provide housing and total care for children in Haiti
3. Seek individuals and organizations as sponsors and ambassadors for foundation Paraclets.

Long-term Goals

1. Seek funding to build child welfare centers in Haiti to provide housing, medical, educational, social cultural and religious services for children 2. Develop a campaign to establish an Children Endowment Haitian Fund so that income from the said fund will be used to support child welfare centers through Haiti. 3. Develop a network of individuals and organizations with diverse backgrounds to make annual financial contributions and service in time. Said funds and time will be used to provide services to families and children throughout Haiti.
